Description
Year old pair of Barbu de Grubbe rumpless bantams.Jack and Jill are garden reared ornamental bantams. If you dont know the breed this means they are about the size of a jackdaw.
Jack has beautiful plumage and the pair are potential show quality.They live in a mixed bantam flock currently and would need to be with small breeds in an enclosed run as they are small enough to be taken by cats.They are a very cute pair. Jack takes his cockerel duties very seriously and is guarding and sharing treats with all the hens. He really makes me laugh he is so serious.They have been handled but the breed is naturally not that cuddly. They are not broody at all though will lay eggs over the spring and early summer so if you have other hens/incubator you could get some chicks. They are a rare breed.They need to go as a pair as they are bonded so please dont ask to separate.I am Apha registered and the buyer will need to collect. Please bring a small box with some hay/bedding.
