Choco & Mabelle – Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home
It breaks my heart to write this, but due to relocating back to my home country for health reasons, I’m looking for a loving new home for my two beautiful dogs, Choco and Mabelle, who must stay together.
Choco is an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel, and Mabelle is an 11-year-old Toy Poodle. They have spent their lives together and are extremely bonded, so I will only consider homes willing to adopt both.
Both are microchipped, neutered, fully house-trained, and in good health. They eat very well and are easy to manage. Mabelle has recently started struggling with longer walks, so she would be best suited to a calmer lifestyle with gentle, shorter walks.
They are incredibly loving dogs who adore cuddles and human company. They are very well-behaved, don’t bark unnecessarily, listen well to commands, and have lovely temperaments.
Choco especially gets a lot of attention when out on walks — people often stop me to ask what breed she is because of her beautiful long, shiny coat.
They are great with other dogs, cats, and children, but I would strongly prefer a quiet home without young children, where they can enjoy peace, comfort, and lots of attention in their senior years.
Another bonus: they don’t moult much, so there’s very little dog hair around the house.
The decision to rehome them has been incredibly difficult, but after a lot of thought, I believe this is the kindest choice for them. The long journey abroad would be too stressful at their age, and the much hotter climate would not be ideal for them either.
They will come with all their belongings, including their beds, bowls, food, combs/grooming items, and other essentials, to help make the transition as comfortable as possible.
Ideally, I would love them to go to an older couple, retired person, or someone mostly at home who can give them the time, affection, and companionship they deserve.
No money is wanted for them — the right home is all that matters. However, I will be very careful and selective, as I want to make absolutely sure they go to the best possible home where they will be loved and cherished for the rest of their lives.
I would also like to see photos of the home and the area where they will be living, as their safety, comfort, and quality of life are my top priority.
Please only get in touch if you can offer them a safe, stable, loving home for life. They deserve nothing less. ❤️
