Description

Hi im rehoming my dog. Her names shimmer, she is microchiped but not in my name. I do have her chip number thro. I got this dog last year from a friend that said she was struggling with her getting on with her new dog. Shimmer is a lovely dog that enjoys attention and cuddles. She will beg and talk when you offer her a treat, she is house trianed and will listen most of the time, now for her bad parts please make sure you read these and are prepared. I will never rehome a animal without being totally upfront about them, my friend told me a few lies about shimmer which I've had to find out myself the hard way Shimmer needs to be rehomed with someone that has no children and no other pets (cats/dogs) Shimmer is mostly fine with my cats but she does go for them at times so I wouldn't trust her around them, shimmer is the same with children absolutely fine most of the time but then there's times when she will growl and bar her teeth so again I wouldn't trust her with children, which is a big shame as she absolutely loves to play and be cuddled. Shimmer needs to locked away at night or being left alone as she with go on sides to find anything food wise to eat. She's very crafty and can open jars and tubs aswell. She has chewed some of my lino in the room I keep her but that could b due to being board, she was used to being kept outside all day and only going in at night when my friend had her but here I can't do the same as we have a lot of cats around that she will chase and try to get hold off and she also will chase and catch birds if given the chance. She's 9 years old and just needs someone with more time to give her the love she deserves. I have a 9 year old severely autistic daughter and having shimmer around her isnt safe. So at the moment as recommended by the health care workers shimmer is kept away from the kids and is alone in a room by herself alot. So need a new home for her as soon as possible as its not far on her
