Behaviour & Temperament
Pudding has shown herself to be a friendly, sociable and well-adjusted dog while in foster care.
People & Visitors
• Absolutely fine with people visiting the home, is a very happy lady. Has shown no fear or aggression
• Has met an 8-year-old child and was very friendly. We feel Pudding would be likely suitable for homes with children aged 8 and above
Training & Handling
• Accepts collar, harness and lead & walks very well on lead
• Well behaved around people and dogs on walks.
• Doesn’t have any issues about resource guaring

Dog & Animal Interaction
• Has lived around other dogs and is friendly with small dogs,. Is observant around larger dogs but not reactive
• Could live with another dog
• Cats
• Has not lived with cats, however was cat tested in romania and was ok. Shows curiosity towards cats on walks (pulls slightly), but has never barked or shown aggression. On that basis we would suggest cat savvy dogs.

Home Behaviour
• Toilet trained, however this can sometimes regress in a new home.
• Crate trained (though she has learned how to open the crate door)
• Not destructive and can be left alone. Pudding has previously been left for 3 hours and remained calm, clean and non destructive.
Night Routine
• Sleeps downstairs, crate remains available but open, she often chooses to sleep comfortably on the sofa with her blanket.
• Given a dental treat before bedtime
• A light is left on
Travel
• Travels well in the car and comfortable wearing a dog seatbelt
Personality Summary
Pudding is a delightful, affectionate older dog with a youthful spirit.
She:
• Enjoys three short daily walks (20–30 minutes)
• Is friendly with everyone she meets
• Loves food
• Enjoys cuddles but is also content resting nearby
She may become vocal when people are eating, but settles when separated using a stair gate.
When excited about walks, she may nibble feet in a puppy-like manner — this is playful behaviour and not aggressive.
Pudding is a loving companion with excellent character and a genuine zest for life.
