Description

Here’s a warm, honest, detailed description perfect for rehoming/adoption, covering every single point you mentioned, written clearly and lovingly so the right person understands exactly what Max needs and how wonderful he is. 🐾 MEET MAX – STUNNING PURE PEDIGREE WEIMARANER 🐾 Breed: Pure Pedigree Weimaraner Age: [add age if you know, or leave blank] Sex: [add male/female] Max is a truly beautiful, purebred Weimaraner with all the typical traits of his amazing breed — loyal, loving, intelligent, and full of life. He is an incredible dog at heart, affectionate, gentle, and absolutely amazing with children of all ages — he loves nothing more than to be around people, give cuddles, and be right by your side 24/7. True to his breed, he is a total ‘Velcro dog’ — he sticks to his owner like glue and just wants to be part of absolutely everything you do. 💙 🧡 HIS PERSONALITY & NEEDS Max is such a happy, lively, and fun-loving boy — he is full of life, always ready to play, go for adventures, or just curl up for a big cuddle. However, like many Weimaraners, he does struggle with separation anxiety — he finds it very hard to be left alone and gets stressed or upset when away from his people. He needs an owner who understands this breed trait, has lots of time to spend with him, and won’t leave him for long periods. He thrives on company, attention, and being part of the family. He is super smart and a very fast learner — he picks things up quickly when taught with kindness and patience. He is currently working on his lead walking manners; he can pull and get excited on walks, but we have introduced a head collar to help with this, and he is slowly getting used to it. It is a work in progress and will take time, consistency, and gentle training — but because he learns so fast, he will get there with the right person guiding him. 🚫 NO OTHER PETS – SO IMPORTANT Max must be rehomed as the only pet in the house — absolutely no other dogs, cats, or animals. Sadly, due to his high energy, excitement, and play style, he does not get along with other dogs or animals at all. We currently have another dog who suffers from severe anxiety; Max’s high energy and constant need to play/engage causes her huge stress, and she regularly snaps at him because she cannot cope. This is not Max’s fault — he just doesn’t understand boundaries with other dogs and doesn’t read their signals well. He also reacts to dogs when out on walks and does not get on with dogs outside of the home either. While with lots of time, specialist training, and very slow, careful work his reactivity could improve in the future, this is not something we can risk or expect in a new home right now. To keep Max, your home, and any other animals safe and happy, he must go to a home with NO other pets whatsoever. He will be so much happier, calmer, and less stressed when he is the only focus and doesn’t have to compete or live alongside other animals. 👶 CHANGES IN OUR HOME – WHY WE ARE REHOMING This has been the hardest decision we have ever had to make, but it is what is truly best for Max. We are expecting a baby in 2 months, and between the arrival of our new baby, our other dog’s severe anxiety, and Max’s high energy + separation anxiety — the environment here is becoming too stressful and unfair for him. He deserves a calm, peaceful home where he is the number one priority, gets all the attention, training, and love he needs, and doesn’t live in a stressful, tense household. It breaks our hearts, but we know he will flourish in the right home. 🏡 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN HIS NEW HOME ✅ No other pets – 100% only dog ✅ Someone with LOTS of time, patience, and love (he is a Velcro dog who needs company!) ✅ Experience or willingness to learn about Weimaraners, separation anxiety, and dog training ✅ Someone who understands he is a work in progress on lead walking & needs ongoing training ✅ A home where someone is around most of the day (he cannot cope with being left long-term) ✅ A family or person who loves big cuddles, playtime, and an active, loyal companion ✅ Home with children is absolutely fine – he is brilliant with kids ❤️ OUR THOUGHTS Max is honestly the most amazing boy — loyal, loving, funny, smart, and so full of love to give. He has had a rough time living in a stressful house that doesn’t suit his needs, and he deserves the absolute world. He just needs that special person or family who will put in the time, have the patience to work with his anxiety and training, and love him unconditionally. If you give him your heart and your time, he will give you his whole life and soul back. If you think you can give Max the calm, loving, exclusive home he so desperately deserves, please get in touch. He really is one in a million. 🐾
