It's with a heavy heart that I'm looking to rehome our much loved and sweet girl, Lily. This has not been an easy decision and purely one for the benefit of her so it is very important to find her the right home and full of love for what will be a difficult transition for her to start with.
Lily is a very typical Golden Retriever, loveable, gentle, loves cuddles on the sofa and so well behaved. If you are familiar with Golden Retrievers they adore people so she very much needs her home where someone will have lots of time for her too. Lily is used to living with other dogs but would not suit a companion who is very barky as this can make her anxious as we have found our elderly dachshund who barks at people on walks has made her anxious on walks when meeting other dogs. I truly believe if she is removed from this she will improve with the right training as she is still so young and generally otherwise she is great on lead and she loves the most having a good run and her recall is good.
I am looking for a loving, responsible home where she will get the time, care and attention she deserves.
I am rehoming Lily due to struggling since my husband passing in 2024 to exercise her enough with my 3 other dogs and now I have a permanent shoulder injury it has not been fair for her as I have not been out as long as she needs.
She is an amazing girl and it is important to me to only consider homes that feel right to her. Please message me if you feel you could offer Lily a kind and stable home.
