Description
I have 5 of these beauties. Extremely rare snake particularly in the UK. All handled regularly and eating well. Born end of September. All records available.
3 males and 2 females
(only 3 pictured)
The one in the main picture in a ball is a male, BIBI (for BB, for belly button, he had an odd belly button when he was born, all closed well)
Another male with the brown paper, Long Tail, has a lovely long line pattern in the tail. This cutie was doing the caudal thing with the tail even before he learnt to eat well.
The other 2 pictures with the white kitchen towel is one of the females, Chilli. All of them are chilled but she was the most relaxed when being born
Acrantophis madagascariensis. They can grow big as boas go, and they can leave 20 years plus.
Any questions let me know.
Cites paper work included. Strongly advice to be microchipped before the end of the year, as these species it is illegal to sell without being chipped once they reach 15 months.
