Devestating sale of Tango, my much-loved pony who has been with me since he had just turned 4 years old. He is 13'3 going on 14 hands and built like a tank. He is only for sale due to a change in circumstance, and finding him the right home is extremely important to me.
Tango has a wonderful, affectionate nature and genuinely loves human company. He is brilliant to catch, comes to call and would happily follow you around the field. He loves being groomed and pampered. Loads well.
He has been ridden by experienced children aged twelve, as well as small adults. Tango is steady and sensible, an old head on young shoulders. He is abit lazy and does try to nap but loves hacking out. Does not buck or rear, if scared he does a slow jog and may try to turn around but nothing unmanageanle if a confident rider.
We havent done an awful lot of schooling, as we both love getting out and about but I'm sure he will turn his hoof to almost anything given the opportunuty. You can not ride him for a period of time, get back on and is just same old, a brave soul 🤍.
He has recently bagan hacking alone and has been doing really well, hacks well in company and is excellent in traffic. He is usually unfazed by rattling trailers, roadworks, chainsaw, bicycles, dogs etc dont bother him he doesnt like giant wagons too much though but will pass with encouragement.
Tango is barefoot with good strong feet, has never had laminitis and can live either in or out throughout the winter. He has lived happily with both mares, geldings and a colt and is easy to share a field with. He doesn't get stressed when companions leave him or he leaves them.
With further schooling and someone who is willing to dedicate time to him i believe he has so much to offer someone wanting to enjoy hacking, Pony Club activities, liberty work or whatever you want to try really i would be surprised if he wasnt willing to give anything a go .
Up to date with vaccinations does have a half grown front tooth, however been checked by the vet when i first purchased him and never caused an issue, will be due the dentist.

Knowledgeable, loving home essential for this very special boy, my heart hurts having to part with him however life changes and i have to put his needs first.
