Description
I have kept and bred both Hermann and Spur Thighed tortoises for 46 years and am now retiring due to ill health. Almost all my girls and boys have now gone to special homes ,This is my last Spur boy , he is a wildling so has never been indoors in a table with a lamp. From hatching he went into the garden with all the others and hibernated at 14 weeks old outside in the garden in his house in hay. So he has had the best natural hibernation from day 1 but safe from the elements inside the house . He has had 5 hibernations and is a sturdy hardy little boy. He forages naturally and has a varied green diet that can be bought from the supermarket or home grown. He will need a good garden to roam . Hibernation is easy because they do it themselves. You still put food out, no starving them pre hibernation ,they would look for food right up until they go into hibernation in the wild and they won't perish if they have eaten just before going to sleep. He comes with Article 10 certificate, care sheet, pictures of his parents and on gong help and support. Any questions please ask.
