With a very heavy heart, the time has finally come to advertise three beautiful girls from Lilly’s first litter. I have delayed this moment for as long as possible because these puppies have been raised as part of our family, and finding the right homes for them matters far more to me than simply finding buyers. They are confident, affectionate, courageous and wonderfully curious little characters, each with her own distinct personality. Their Royal Kennel Club registered names are: Solencrest Adelina Solencrest Ophelia Solentcrest Isabella These are their official registered names, but naturally, their new owners will be free to choose the everyday names that feel right for them. Both parents are excellent examples of the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed. They are fully health tested, with results that can be independently verified through the Royal Kennel Club, and the litter has a very low coefficient of inbreeding. All Royal Kennel Club registration certificates and relevant documentation are present and available to view. After a great deal of careful consideration, the puppies’ registrations will carry no breeding endorsements. This decision reflects the excellent quality, health testing and very low coefficient of both parents. Any future breeding should always be approached responsibly, with health, temperament and the future of the breed placed first. The puppies have been raised inside our family home and are well socialised with adults, children and normal household life. They have also been introduced to the Rule of Seven, meaning they have experienced a wide variety of people, sounds, surfaces, objects, environments and gentle challenges during their most important developmental stage. They are already: • Toilet trained and used to a regular routine • Confident, playful, affectionate and inquisitive • Comfortable around adults and children • Used to household sounds, visitors and everyday activity • Familiar with having their paws, ears and bodies gently handled • Comfortable with nail clipping • Positively introduced to water and gentle bathing • Accustomed to affection, structure and clear boundaries • Raised on a carefully balanced 80/20 raw diet Each puppy will be vet checked, vaccinated and microchipped before collection. She will leave with her Royal Kennel Club registration certificate, vaccination and microchip information, and all relevant documentation. Every girl will also leave with a carefully prepared puppy pack, including a personalised embroidered blanket and a handcrafted comfort toy containing a piece of the sheepskin bedding the puppies have been sleeping on. This familiar scent can help reassure them during those important first nights away from their mother and littermates. We are looking for loving, permanent homes that understand the intelligence, loyalty, strength and emotional sensitivity of the Rhodesian Ridgeback. Preference will be given to homes with a secure garden, a commitment to continuing an appropriate 80/20 raw diet, and an understanding that a crate should never be used as the puppy’s main living space or as a substitute for training, companionship and exercise. These girls deserve homes where they will be included as genuine members of the family and given time, patience, structure, appropriate exercise and plenty of love. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are deeply devoted dogs, and bringing one into your life should be a carefully considered, lifelong commitment.
