Sometimes finding the right home isn’t about finding any home… It’s about finding the right one. And that’s exactly what we want for our beautiful Rina. With her unforgettable one blue eye and one warm brown eye, Rina is impossible to forget. She travelled from Cyprus to the UK hoping someone would finally choose her forever. Now she’s waiting in her foster home in Lincolnshire, where we’ve been learning more about the wonderful girl she is. Rina is approximately 2 years old, weighs around 16–17 kg, and is a bright, active, intelligent young dog who absolutely loves people. She is affectionate, friendly and enjoys spending time with adults and children alike. Once she trusts you, she forms a lovely bond and genuinely enjoys being part of family life. She is also a clever girl who loves learning. She is attentive during one-to-one training, enjoys using her brain and would be an excellent candidate for agility, scent work, enrichment games and puzzle toys. She is: 🐾 Good on the lead. 🐾 Travels beautifully in the car. 🐾 Clean in the house. 🐾 Healthy and ready for her new life. 🐾 Active, playful and full of personality. Like many rescue dogs, Rina has taught us more about herself as she has settled into foster care. Although she enjoys playing with other dogs outdoors, she has shown that she does not enjoy living in a busy multi-dog household and has become uncomfortable sharing her home with smaller dogs. Because of this, we believe she will be happiest and most successful in one of the following homes: ❤️ As an only dog, where she can enjoy all the love, attention and stability for herself. OR ❤️ With one calm, confident, larger male dog who doesn’t challenge her and is comfortable sharing his home. She is good with cats, and this has been assessed. We are looking for an experienced, active home in a rural or semi-rural location, with a secure garden and owners who appreciate intelligent, energetic dogs and enjoy continuing their training and enrichment. Rina was found alone near a small chapel in Cyprus and was named after Saint Marina. Nobody came looking for her. Despite everything, she never lost her trust in people. She has travelled hundreds of miles for the chance to belong to someone. Just to have her own family.
