Description
This is Bear, our medium coat black and tan pedigree German Shepherd, available for stud. He’s 6 years old, a big strong lad with a great temperament friendly, loyal, and loves being around people.
All relevant paperwork is available to confirm his pedigree.
We’ve bred from him before with a guy we met in the park as he fell in love with Bear's temperament, behaviour, and personality. He had some lovely, healthy pups, so we’re looking to do it again.
Bear is a pedigree and comes from a solid liniage. His mum was a police dog, and his dad came over from Serbia and was well trained. Sadly, Bear never reached his full potential for a number of reasons, some listed below:
- Mother feeding him from the table
- Mother + Father feeding him with cutlery from his dog bowl
- Mother + Father helping him into vehicles to the point where he expects help every time (this was rectified early on, but he still prefers being helped in)
- Father feeding him steak when he was ill, to the point he refused dog food for weeks
- Mother doing the opposite of the dog trainer and undoing his weekly work with Bear
Despite all that, Bear is highly intelligent and understands people very well. He’s always looking for love and attention from his family and has never shown any aggression even when doing things like taking food away from him.
He was never neutered as he’s always been well-tempered. He’s social with other dogs and people, though he’s especially attached to his family. He responds really well to affection and always wants to be around us whenever he can.
He’s also very well behaved in the home never destructive and can be left alone, although we don’t leave him for more than around 4 hours in line with UK guidance.
Stud fee is £400, however we may prefer a pup from the litter as we love him and would like to carry on his legacy.
