Bella – Looking for a Patient, Loving Home
It is with a heavy heart that I am looking to find Bella a new home.
Bella is a lovely, affectionate girl who is incredibly family-orientated and absolutely fantastic with children. She loves being around her people and thrives on companionship, which is one of the reasons this decision has been so difficult.
Bella has been with us for a few months, but unfortunately her separation anxiety has become more than I can manage. I have a 2-year-old child, and despite trying my best to work through Bella’s issues, I feel I am no longer able to give her the time and support she needs and deserves.
Bella was originally brought up with two other dogs and was rehomed due to unforeseen circumstances with her previous owners. Unfortunately, some of the challenges she faces were not made known to me when I took her on. Since having her, we have discovered that she struggles significantly when left alone and can become destructive. We have attempted crate training and have been working with her, but she still needs a lot of patience, consistency, and understanding.
Bella would ideally suit a home where there is already another friendly dog, as she seems much more settled with canine companionship. She also needs owners who have plenty of time to dedicate to her training and helping her build confidence when left alone.
This decision has not been made lightly, but I truly believe Bella would thrive in a home better suited to her needs. She is a loving, loyal dog with a wonderful nature, especially around children, and has so much potential with the right people around her.
