💔 His Story
Rudy’s story is sadly typical of the forgotten, godforsaken places he comes from. He was abandoned in a remote village and left to fend for himself. Hungry and confused, he tried to approach properties in search of safety and food — only to be chased away by people and other dogs.
But Rudy did not give up. One day, as kind rescuers were feeding their own dogs behind their gate, he waited quietly nearby. Of course, he was offered food. And of course, he came back the next day.
These good people — friends of ours and rescuers themselves — made space for him. They built a new pen in their yard and welcomed him in. Rudy accepted gratefully.
Soon after, he welcomed a younger rescued boy, CHARLIE, into his double pen. Charlie had been chained as a tiny puppy and used as a guard dog. Rudy accepted him kindly — and they are now good friends.
🐶 Rudy’s Personality
Rudy is a gentle, observant and loyal young dog. He may be slightly cautious at first with new people — understandable after what he has endured — but he is not reactive, not aggressive, and not defensive.
At the vet, he allowed full handling, shaving and injections without protest. He is compliant, balanced and emotionally steady.
He bonds deeply once he trusts. Rudy is the type of dog who will walk beside you quietly, watching the world together, loyal and devoted.
🧬 Breed (Best Guess)
Rudy appears to be a Shepherd mix — possibly with German Shepherd influence, combined with ******************n European village dog lineage. This often results in wonderfully balanced, intelligent and adaptable family companions.
🏡 RUDY’s Ideal Home
• A calm, loving home where he will be treated as a family member — never again as disposable.
• A secure garden would be lovely but not essential with proper exercise.
• Another friendly dog could be a wonderful companion, as he enjoys canine friendship.
• Patient adopters who understand that trust takes a little time — and is worth every second.
• A family willing to give him stability, routine and lifelong commitment.
