❤️ Loving American Akita Looking for His Forever Home ❤️ It absolutely breaks my heart to write this, but due to unforeseen circumstances and an upcoming relocation, I have made the incredibly difficult decision that I need to find a new home for my beautiful American Akita. He is a genuinely beautiful, loving and incredibly laid-back boy with the most wonderful, placid temperament. He is house trained and lead trained, and despite being an American Akita, he is one of the most relaxed dogs you could wish to meet. He can still be shy and slightly nervous, particularly with new people or unfamiliar situations, so he needs someone who understands that he may take a little time to build confidence and trust. Once he feels comfortable, he is an absolute sweetheart and deserves nothing less than a loving, patient and stable home. This is not a decision I am making lightly. I love him dearly, and the thought of saying goodbye genuinely breaks my heart. I would much rather keep him, but unfortunately my circumstances and relocation mean that I no longer have that choice. Because of how much he means to me, finding the right family is far more important than finding a buyer. I will be asking a rehoming fee, purely because I want to know that the person taking him on is serious about providing him with the commitment, love, time and care he deserves. He is absolutely not being offered to the highest bidder. I will be asking questions about your home, lifestyle and experience, and I reserve the right to say no if I don't feel the home is suitable. I would rather wait for the perfect home than let him go somewhere that isn't right for him. He deserves a family who will be patient with him, give him time to settle, make him part of their family and love him for the beautiful dog he is. 💙 This really is a heartbreaking rehoming, and I want to make sure his next home is his forever home.
