Description

10 year old male sulcata tortoise - about 2 foot long and 25kg. Had him since he was a baby but running out of space as I have a few others. These are a very large breed of tortoise and he is not yet full grown. They do not hibernate so need a heated house all year round. We use a 'dog crate' type house in the garden with ceramic heat lights. He has a very small burn mark on top of his shell where he knocked over a heat light last year but superfical and cosmetic only and healing up well. Happy to advise on set up but serious owners only please - this is probably not a starter pet unless you have plenty of space. On the plus side you never need a lawnmower!
