Wire haired ‘Reece’ with his bashful countenance & gentlemanly ways. He’s 8 mths of age & a delicate & mellow lad. Reece will be content in the slower lane of life & is an older spirit in a younger body- very special & passive companion © A little bit about me in my own words Firstly don’t you think my apricot coat is so fetching? I’m the most beautiful titian and strawberry blond leesa said. I really am a stunning looking dog & I’m just as outstanding on the inside. I wouldn’t hurt a fly. I also have a glint in my eye. I was born through no fault of my own in a place that didn’t care about me. I was considered worse than vermin and as useless as a screwed up crisp packet in their mind. Can you imagine if my puppy pic’ had gone live in some parts of the world? Oh my I would have been snapped up in a heart beat. I’ve never been anyone’s 1% let alone their 100. Nobody wants me not even for a while and I’ve been left in a government pound since a vulnerable baby just waiting for my time to come. Is it because I’m not ‘cute’ and small anymore or jumping on your lap that I’m less favoured? Actually I’m very cute & I’m small in my presence because I’m that unresisting. Leesa and everyone says I’m very willing & gentle. I need a real home & one that cherishes not chains me. I’m at risk still because the policies here don’t protect me & unless someone comes forward to make a difference then I’m stuck. My time is running out and I need a miracle at this stage. I’m good with my own kind as clearly seen so you might consider me and one of my pals if you’re used to two that or you may have resident pets already. I’m also fine as an only dog. I don’t have a past to recall as such, because I was a baby in here & not once do you see me join in with all the commotion - what more could you want? You’ll have a docile & willing companion in me. I’m the shy boy at the back of the class that has so much to offer if I could just find my niche & have chance to come forward. Look how natural & at ease I am in the training ground just ambling about. One of the shelter volunteers feels so sorry for me & has remarked on how beautiful I am & what a ‘character’ I will be. Well I’m already that though without the backdrop I deserve (your sofa) how can I really shine? I can’t fend for myself in the big bad world because I’ve only know my ‘home’ to be with people and provided for. I need my special person if I’m to ever survive.
