Description
We’re now taking advance reservations for Muscovy duck hatching eggs for Spring 2026. Orders placed now will secure your place, with dispatch hopefully expected to begin from late February, once our Muscovy ducks return to lay. Should laying start earlier than expected, we’ll contact you to arrange an earlier dispatch.
We ship hatching eggs UK-wide via tracked delivery. Each egg is carefully packed in shaped polystyrene trays within a layer of bubble wrap, providing excellent protection against knocks and temperature fluctuations during transit. We’ve been hatching and posting eggs for many years, and this proven packaging method ensures consistent, safe delivery. Local collection from IP25 is always welcome and generally offers the best hatch rates.
We recommend allowing eggs to rest for 24 hours before setting to let air cells stabilise.
During winter we keep our flocks together, we find this way our birds are happier, but once spring/summer comes they’re separated into breeding groups for colour, for that reason with these eggs we will be unable to guarantee, what colours you will get, however within our group we have, bronze, blue ripple, blue barred, wild type, chocolate, chocolate pied, lavender barred pied, lavender pied and blue.
As touched upon however, we will have specific colour breeding groups available in the very near future, if these are of interest do get in touch as we can let you know our plans for colours.

Muscovies are calm, quiet ducks ideal for gardens and smallholdings. Unlike most ducks, they do not quack, instead making soft hissing sounds. They are excellent natural mothers, hardy, strong foragers, and lay large, rich eggs.
