Meet beautiful Zarla, 2 -year-old girl who is desperately looking for the loving forever home she has always deserved. 🐶❤️
Zarla has had a very difficult start in life. She was left living in a home with other dogs who would constantly pick on her and fight with her. She never had her own toys, her own lead and collar, or even her own bed where she could go when she needed some peace and quiet.
She didn’t even understand what the word “walk” meant. 💔
Zarla dose not know the word good girl and didn’t have food daily
Thankfully, Zarla was rescued and, for the first time, she has discovered what it feels like to have things of her own. She now has her own food bowls, toys and collar — little things that most dogs take for granted, but which mean so much to her. 🥹❤️
🐾 A LITTLE ABOUT ZARLA
Zarla is a beautiful, affectionate and very loving girl. She absolutely adores cuddles, attention and being close to her people. She loves to play and is incredibly sweet and gentle with people and children.
She is also very needy and can be frightened when left alone, so she will need a family who understands this and is willing to help her build confidence gradually.
Zarla has also recently started her first season, so she will need some extra care and patience during this time.
❤️ ZARLA’S HISTORY WITH OTHER DOGS
We want to be completely honest about Zarla’s history because finding the right home for her is incredibly important.
Zarla was repeatedly bullied and involved in fights with another dog in her previous home. On more than one occasion, she was put in a position where she had to defend herself. During one tragic incident, the other dog attacked Zarla, biting her head and body. Zarla was badly frightened and, in what appears to have been a desperate fight for survival, the other dog sadly died.
This does not mean that Zarla is a bad or aggressive dog. Her history tells us that she was repeatedly placed in an unsafe situation where she was being bullied and attacked.
Because of what she has experienced, we feel that the safest and kindest home for Zarla would be one where she is the only dog, living with people who can give her the security, attention and one-to-one love she has been missing.
We don’t want her past to define her. We want her future to define her. ❤️
🏡 WHAT ZARLA NEEDS
Zarla needs a family who will:
❤️ Give her lots of love and cuddles
🐾 Help her learn what a normal doggy life is
🛏️ Give her a bed and a safe space of her own
🧸 Let her enjoy her toys and playtime
🚶 Patiently teach her about walks and everything she has never experienced
👨👩👧 Give her the attention and reassurance she craves
🏡 Ideally have her as the only dog in the home
❤️ Understand that she may need time, patience and reassurance when left alone
I can honestly say that Zarla is one of the most beautiful and kind-hearted dogs you could ever meet.
Please don’t look at Zarla and only see the worst moment of her past.
Look at the little girl who never had her own toys.
Look at the girl who never had her own bed.
Look at the dog who didn’t even know what a walk was.
Look at the girl who now loves cuddles, loves attention and just wants someone to finally choose her. ❤️
Zarla deserves a forever home. She deserves to feel safe. She deserves to be loved.
