His family became increasingly concerned about her. Despite being so young herself, Delilah had already had at least four litters, including Pickles and Socks. They were worried about her repeatedly becoming pregnant and about her welfare continuing to live as a stray, so they reached out for help. Delilah and her babies are now safely with Penny Paws in a foster home in Hungerford. Once her kittens no longer need her, Delilah will be neutered so she never has to go through another pregnancy, and we will find her a lovely home of her own. For Pickles and Socks, their difficult start is already behind them. They have settled beautifully into foster care and are friendly, well-handled little kittens who are ready for the next part of their lives. Meet Pickles 🖤🤍 Pickles is the boy and the darker of the two, with more black in his markings. He is a confident, adventurous little character who loves playing and exploring his surroundings. He can be quite chatty, absolutely loves his food and is very partial to chin scratches. He is an outgoing, curious kitten who likes to know what is happening and get involved. Meet Socks 🤍🖤 Socks is the girl and has less black in her markings. She is the calmer and gentler of the pair, much like her mum. She can initially seem a little quieter than Pickles, but don’t let that fool you! Socks is a very clever little kitten who likes to assess new surroundings before deciding exactly what mischief she can get into. She is happy being picked up and cuddled and will even let you give her a tummy rub. They have been raised together and we would love to find them a home where they can continue growing up together. Health & Adoption As Pickles and Socks are still young, their adopters will be required to have them neutered once they reach the appropriate age/weight. We do not routinely vaccinate our rescue cats because previous vaccination history is often unknown. We recommend adopters begin a fresh vaccination course with their own vet. Our foster homes are located across London and Hampshire, with our HQ in Hook, Hampshire. Every application is reviewed by a second member of the Penny Paws team.
