Description
Mini was abandoned in Crete, sadly, like so many other pups. But lucky for her and her sibling, they were found by kind people and kept safe, vaccinated and shown humans can be kind.
Mini is a sweet little lady; she has had some upheaval with travel to the UK and a busier environment. But she is taking it all in her stride and adapting so well.
We are hoping to find her a forever home with another friendly dog who will show her the ropes and guide her. No children under 12 years. She is good with cats.
A family will need to be prepared to invest in training, socialisation and continue her walks, 3 feeds a day and routine and boundaries.
Below is her write-up from her foster mum in the UK.
Dogs Name: Mini (Aka Minnie Mouse)
Arrival date: 25th April 2026
Where does Mini sleep at night? Mini sleeps in her crate next to our bed and is good as gold.
How is Mini with the current pets? We have 3 small female dogs, and Mini has got on really well with them. We also have 2 cats who Mini loves – she is very sweet with them.
Is Mini clean indoors? Yes, she is a super good girl and uses the garden. We do get an excited wee when we come home or first thing in the morning.
Can Mini be left alone? We have left Mini alone with our dogs for short periods without issue.
Is Mini out for walks? Mini loves her walk and gets excited when she sees her harness. She is a little nervous initially, but soon settles. She is more confident when our dogs are with her.
How does Mini walk on the lead? Mini walks beautifully on the lead once she gets over her initial nerves. We haven’t been near the roads yet, but I anticipate she will be nervous about traffic.
Has Mini met other dogs? Mini is great with other dogs, but is a little bit nervous to start with. Just new to her, UK life is busier than Crete. She is sweet and adapting well.
How is Mini with humans? Mini loves people and is very sweet. She is shy to start with, but soon warms. She loves cuddles and kisses and wants to be as close as possible to her humans.
Have you noticed Mini is afraid of any particular things? Mini is getting braver every day. Household noise doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She isn’t a fan of the football in the garden or any loud noises outside.
Any other useful information?
Mini loves her food and is a hungry girl. She is having 3 meals a day as she is still a growing pup. You need to watch any sofa snacks you have, as her long nose gets into everything 😊
I think Mini would like to live with another kind and gentle dog, as she is more confident when she is not on her own. She would be fine as an only dog if she had lots of human attention and doggy playdates.
Mini is going to need lots of exercise, so we would love a family who will take her for lovely long walks.
Mini loves her sleep. Once home from a walk, she likes nothing better than curling up in her bed and snoozing. She also loves to sunbathe.
Mini is learning about toys and is enjoying exploring the doggy toy box.
Mini would be a fantastic family dog as she loves everyone equally (maybe she loves the one who feeds her a little bit more).
Mini is a typical playful and cheeky puppy who loves to run off with shoes and slippers. She would chew them if given a chance. She is responding well to firm boundaries and ongoing training will be needed.
Mini is an absolute sweetheart, and we are loving seeing more of her character coming out each day. We can’t wait for her to find her forever family, who will shower her with all the love and kindness that she deserves. We are loving being her foster family, and we will miss her a lot xx
Home check will apply.
