Description
Parker has been in foster care for several months and has come on in leaps and bounds during that time. As his confidence has grown, so has his wonderful personality, and he is now ready to find a family of his own.
He is currently living happily with cats. While he does like to encourage them to play from time to time, he is not aggressive and could happily live with confident, dog-savvy cats. Parker also enjoys the company of other dogs and would be equally happy living with a canine companion.
Parker is making great progress around children, although he can find very lively or boisterous youngsters a little overwhelming. For this reason, he would be best suited to a home with older, sensible children or an adult-only household.
When meeting new people, Parker can be a little shy at first, but with a little patience, kindness and the occasional tasty treat, he soon relaxes and his affectionate, playful nature shines through.
He absolutely loves toys and enjoys nothing more than heading out on walks to explore the world around him. Parker is an intelligent young dog who already knows several commands, including sit, paw and lie down, and he’s even learning to roll over! He’s also practising fetch—although he sometimes gets a little distracted and forgets to bring the toy back.
As a young, active dog, Parker is looking for a family who can offer him plenty of exercise, continued training and lots of fun. In return, they will gain a loyal, loving companion who is eager to learn and ready to share a lifetime of adventures.
