Description
We are looking for a loving, experienced home for our Black and Tan male Shollie (German Shepherd x Border Collie), just over 2 years old.
He is a very intelligent and loyal dog who forms strong bonds with his people. He is fully house trained and settled in a home environment, and thrives on routine and attention.
Due to his temperament, he would be best suited as the only pet in the home, as he does not mix well with other animals. He would also benefit from an owner who has experience with active or working breeds and is confident continuing his training.
On walks, he can be reactive and will need further lead training and consistent handling. Because of this, he is best suited to someone who can dedicate time and patience to improving his confidence and behaviour outdoors.
At home, he is affectionate and enjoys being around his family. With the right guidance and environment, he has lots of potential to be an incredibly rewarding companion.
This is a very difficult decision, and we are committed to finding him the right home where his needs will be fully understood and met.
