It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our Border Collie, Logan.
Logan is 6 years old and has worked with us all his life. He is an absolute beast when it comes to endurance and has endless energy when out working. We also have his mum here, who is working as well.
Although he is a working dog, Logan is one of the kindest dogs you could meet. He absolutely loves people and would happily spend hours cuddling. He loves playing with balls and sticks, is fully house trained, and just wants to be involved in whatever we are doing.
The reason we are rehoming him is because he does not get on with other entire male dogs. He has been castrated and we have tried different options, but unfortunately it has not improved. We are happy to talk through this in more details.
We have a large pack of dogs and it is becoming stressful for everyone, including Logan. We feel he deserves a home where he can relax and enjoy life.
Logan would suit a working home, or an active family who enjoy walking, running, agility or other outdoor activities. He could live with female or neutered dogs but NOT entire males.
He has not been around children, purely because of his working life, so for that reason we would prefer a home without young children.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly. Logan has been with me since a puppy and we love him dearly. Seeing him left behind / walking separately when the others go out breaks my heart. We just want to find him the right home where he can be happy, get all the attention he deserves and enjoy life to the fullest.
The right home is far more important than a quick home, we are in no rush and we will be looking carefully to make sure Logan goes to the best family possible.
