Description

Poppy is looking for her forever home 🐾 This is a very difficult decision, but unfortunately my Maine Coon cat has not accepted Poppy into the family. The situation has caused my cat significant stress and anxiety, resulting in her pulling her fur out, so I feel it is in everyone’s best interests to find Poppy a loving new home. Poppy is a loving, playful, and affectionate pup who adores people, especially older children. She has been raised in a family home with children aged 8 years, 2 years, and 5 months, so she is used to being around young children and family life. Poppy has only recently become fully toilet trained and is now clean in the house. She does very well with a regular routine. While she doesn’t yet let you know when she needs to go out, she happily toilets outside when given the opportunity and can comfortably hold herself overnight. She will need someone to continue encouraging regular toilet breaks and maintaining a consistent routine. She sleeps through the night, settles well on her own, and can be left alone for a few hours during the day without any problems. She has no separation anxiety and is happy spending time by herself when needed. Poppy would benefit from some further lead training, and her recall is still a work in progress. If she is off lead, she may think it’s a game and play chase rather than come straight back! She is a friendly girl who loves people and gets along well with other dogs. She can sometimes be a little shy when meeting unfamiliar dogs on walks. She is also good with cats and simply wants to play, although she may bark at them initially. Poppy is currently fed a raw diet and also enjoys a small amount of dry food each day as a treat or snack. She knows how to sit and is a very quick learner. With a little time, consistency, and training, I believe she has the potential to become a wonderfully obedient dog. Poppy will come with: • Her bed • Toys • Treats • Food Poppy’s parents are both registered and health tested, Poppy isn’t registered. I also have photos of both of her parents.
