Description

We are reluctantly selling our two Horsefield tortoises as our son has lost interest and they deserve more affection and attention. We have also recently found out that they are both male, which was impossible to tell when we bought them due to their young age. This means that they should be separated as they are naturally solitary in the wild and keeping them together may encourage bullying and territorial behaviour. Lemon and Mac are both 6 years old and have documentation to provide origin context (see 2nd pic). They are both happy and healthy and are easy to look after. They spend warm days in the garden and do not officially hibernate but - instead - just slow down and sleep more during winter months. They have been growing at roughly 1cm a year so far. #Please note: # Due to the need for separation, I need to sell one tortoise first without associated equipment (as I will need this for the remaining tortoise whilst awaiting sale). All you really need to get started is: tortoise table, heat lamp and coir blocks for bedding.
