Beautiful 10-Month-Old Japanese Akita Looking for His Forever Home It is with a very heavy heart that I am having to rehome my gorgeous 10-month-old Japanese Akita due to my health. This is not a decision I have made lightly, but I can no longer give him the care, time, and exercise that he deserves. He is fully toilet trained and has a lovely, friendly nature. He is great with children, gets on well with other dogs, and has been around a cat without any issues. He knows basic commands such as sit and is currently working on his recall. Like many young dogs, he can become distracted when off lead by interesting sounds or people, so his recall still needs some consistency and training. He doesn’t tend to run off and usually stays within sight. He has been vaccinated, although I wasn’t given the vaccination paperwork by his previous owner. He is a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate young dog who would thrive with someone who has the time to continue his training and give him the love and attention he deserves. As an Akita, he will benefit from an owner who understands the breed or is willing to learn about their needs. Finding the right home is far more important to me than a quick sale. I want him to go to a loving, permanent home where he will be treated as part of the family. Please only contact me if you are genuinely interested and can offer him the forever home he deserves.
