Mum, Lyra aged 5 has a wonderful gentle nature. (Very similar to her Mum Lola.) She is an exceptional family pet who gets on well with humans and dogs. She loves her daily walk in town or the countryside. She greets us as we return from work with her wagging tail and then sits close to lean in for a hug with contented murmuring noises. Lyra's Dad is a Show retriever, (KC Stanley, Royal Emerald.) The Dad of the puppies is Angus (KC Gold Fast Fever). He is a handsome Working Fox Red Retriever. He is smilar in height and build to Lyra, with a gentle, loving temperament. The photo shows both of them meeting in a local bluebell wood earlier this year and they immediately got on, playing, running and jumping together. Their companiable natures shine through. The puppies have been raised in a loving, family home. They have had social interaction with people of all ages. They are happy living alongside everyday household activities and noises. They are well looked after by Lyra who not only feeds and cleans them, but now is putting in a lot of time showing the puppies normal dog behaviour. It has been fascinating and a privilege to see her look after them from birth to now. We have been diligently following the KC guidelines from whelping to weaning so the puppies get the best upbringing ready for their owners. They are healthy, happy, thriving puppies, being inquisitive, playful and loving towards each other and us. When ready for collection, all the puppies will have had their first medical check, their first lot of vaccinations, be up to date with worming and flea treatments and be microchipped. They will come with a puppy pack including Skinners puppy food, photos, a familiar toy and blanket and full medical history of the puppies and parents.
