Description
BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN LABRADOODLE / DOUBLE DOODLE PUPPIES
Our litter of nine puppies—five girls and four boys—was born on 31 August 2026 and is being raised in our family home in Cheshire.
They are a cross between our KC-registered yellow Labrador, Daisy, and Buddy, an F1 Goldendoodle. We seek loving, responsible and permanent homes where each puppy will become a cherished family member.
ABOUT THE BREED
The puppies are Golden Labradoodles with the expected breed composition:
• 50% Labrador Retriever
• 25% Golden Retriever
• 25% Standard Poodle
As they combine Labrador, Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle heritage, they may also be described as Double Doodles. We use both names while being transparent about their parentage. Individual coat type, curl and shedding may vary and cannot be guaranteed.
ABOUT MUM – DAISY
Daisy is our much-loved KC-registered yellow Labrador from champion gundog lines. She has a gentle, intelligent and intuitive nature and a remarkable natural awareness of people’s needs.
When a family member experienced an asthma attack, Daisy learned to retrieve their inhaler. She has also offered companionship to a relative with vascular dementia, responding calmly and sensitively.
Daisy is a family dog rather than a formally trained assistance dog, but these experiences demonstrate her natural empathy and desire to help. She is affectionate and reassuring around children, older people and those needing additional support.
Daisy’s KC coefficient of inbreeding is 3.7%, below the Labrador breed average of approximately 6.5%. She has been an exceptional mother and can be seen with her puppies.
ABOUT DAD – BUDDY
Buddy is a handsome F1 Goldendoodle, born to a KC-registered Standard Poodle mother and KC-registered Golden Retriever father. Both parents were health screened before breeding, with further information available where possible.
His mother was a therapy dog, and several of Buddy’s siblings have worked as therapy dogs in settings including Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and local primary schools.
This background particularly appealed to us because we hope the puppies will inherit the calm, affectionate and people-focused qualities associated with good therapy and family dogs. However, future temperament or suitability for therapy work cannot be guaranteed.
Buddy has a friendly, loving temperament and measures approximately 67cm at the shoulder. He lives with his family in Hertfordshire. Although he cannot normally be met with the puppies, photographs and videos can be provided, and a video call may be arranged.
HEALTH SCREENING
Wisdom Panel DNA health screening covering more than 260 genetic conditions has been commissioned, and results are awaited. Results and supporting information will be available once received.
HOW THE PUPPIES ARE BEING RAISED
The puppies receive individual attention, affection and gentle handling.
From their earliest days, they have taken part in age-appropriate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI). Their socialisation includes positive exposure to household sounds, voices, movements and everyday family life.
As they grow, they will spend carefully supervised time with neurodivergent children and adults. Experiences will be introduced gradually, with their welfare always taking priority.
Our aim is to help them become confident and adaptable, providing thoughtful foundations for life as loving family companions. For puppies with a suitable temperament, these experiences may support future therapy or assistance work following assessment and specialist training.
We observe each puppy’s personality carefully so we can help families choose one who may suit their home and lifestyle.
