Description
Pishu is a lively young Pomeranian with a big personality. He was surrendered by his previous family after they realised they simply didn’t have enough time for him while raising two toddlers. Through no fault of his own, he missed out on the routine and consistency that a young dog needs.
Like any typical teenager, Pishu is full of energy. He loves running, playing and exploring, and enjoys long walks where he can burn off some of that enthusiasm. He walks nicely on a lead, but he has a strong instinct to chase squirrels, so he shouldn’t be let off lead in unfenced areas.
Pishu is partially house-trained and will benefit from a consistent routine. With a little patience, structure and positive reinforcement, he has every chance of becoming a wonderful companion.
During his time in foster care, Pishu lived happily with other dogs and with cats. He generally ignores confident cats and would be perfectly happy sharing his home with canine or feline friends.
Although he weighs only around 3 kg, Pishu can be quite bouncy when he’s excited. For this reason, we feel he would be better suited to a home without very young children, as he could accidentally knock over a toddler during play.
Despite his playful nature, Pishu also has a gentle, affectionate side. Once he’s had his exercise, he’ll happily curl up on your lap while you relax and watch television.
Pishu travels well in the car, responds to his name, is happy to have his nails trimmed, and is used to regular grooming. As a Pomeranian, his beautiful coat requires routine brushing and maintenance to keep it healthy and free from tangles.
Pishu has been castrated and is now looking for an active family who will give him the time, guidance and love he deserves. In return, you’ll gain a cheerful, affectionate and loyal companion who is ready to enjoy life’s adventures with
