Description

We are looking for the right home for our 7 month old female working -line German Shepherd. She was originally brought to us with the intention of developing her as a working/sports canine. Having spent time with her and assessed her as she has matured, we have decided that she is better suited to an active companion home rather than continuing down the working/sport route we had originally planned for her. She is from German bloodlines and comes from one of the best pedigrees for German working-line German Shepherds, with the qualities you would expect from this type of breeding, including intelligence, enthusiasm and a strong willingness to engage with her handler. Most importantly, she has a brilliant temperament. She is a lovely, affectionate girl who enjoys spending time with people and would thrive with an active family or individual who can give her plenty of exercise, training and mental stimulation. She would be particularly well suited to someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and wants a German Shepherd to accompany them on walks, adventures and training activities. She is intelligent and has plenty of potential to continue developing with the right person. She is still only 7 months old, so like any young working-line German Shepherd, she will benefit from continued training, consistency and structure. We are looking for a home that understands the breed and is prepared to continue putting the time into her rather than simply looking for a low-maintenance pet. This is a genuine and difficult decision, and finding the right home is far more important to us than simply finding her a new home quickly. She will come with her SV (SV-registered) papers from Germany, and has been fully health tested, vaccinated, and regularly wormed/flea treated appropriate for her age. Experienced and active homes preferred Please get in touch with some information about yourself, your experience with dogs and the type of home/lifestyle you can offer her. We will be selective about where she goes.
