We are looking for a very special home for our beloved nearly 5 year-old Chihuahua.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family. With a second baby on the way and both parents working full-time, we feel we can no longer provide the time, attention, exercise, and ongoing training that he deserves. Our priority is finding a loving home where he can thrive and receive the care and companionship he enjoys.
He is a healthy, affectionate little dog who forms very strong bonds with his family. Once he knows and trusts you, he is incredibly loving, cuddly, and enjoys being close to his people. He loves relaxing at home and being part of family life.
Like many Chihuahuas, he can be nervous around strangers initially and may bark when he feels unsure. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he is friendly and affectionate. He lives well with children and cats and can be left alone for reasonable periods.
He would benefit from a calm and patient owner who understands small dogs and is willing to continue building his confidence and work on his toilet training routine.
We are not looking for a quick rehome. Finding the right home is far more important to us than finding a home quickly. We would love to hear from experienced dog owners or anyone who can offer the time, patience, and love he deserves.
