💔 Yara arrived in the UK in the middle of May with hope this would finally be her forever home.
But unfortunately the trial placement where Yara was with her brother Marco did not work out — not because Yara did anything wrong, but because she is a sensitive young dog who found herself facing huge changes all at once.
A new country. New people. New home. New language. New routines. For a young dog who had never experienced any of this before, it was overwhelming. She jut needed a little more time.. But after just one week they were returned back to rescue.

Yara is around 11 months old, lower-medium in size (to the knee), with one of the softest, sweetest natures imaginable.

💔 Rescue Story
Yara was found as a tiny newborn puppy together with her mum and siblings abandoned on the shore of a lake. Tiny helpless puppies left without shelter, safety or any chance of survival.
Thankfully they were rescued in time and brought into care before tragedy happened.
🐾 More About Yara
Yara has now been in foster for over a month and the transformation has been wonderful to watch.
Her foster says:
"Yara arrived with her brother Marco a month ago. She was initially the more terrified one, but within 12 hours she was already starting to approach me."
While Marco initially adjusted faster, Yara simply needed a little more time.
She was more hesitant about walks, slower to eat, less confident around other dogs and much more worried about unfamiliar people entering the home.
But day by day, her confidence has grown.
Her foster says:
"Although slower than Marco, she too has blossomed into the most gentle, delightful, loving, beautiful and endearing young girl. She is a treasure through and through."
One of the most beautiful things about Yara is her nature. She is never demanding. Never pushy. Never expecting anything. Instead, she accepts every kindness with quiet gratitude and follows her human around like a peaceful little shadow.
"Yara is never demanding, always receiving anything on offer gratefully, being a peaceful, graceful shadow around the house, loving her human in such a wholehearted manner."
Yara has become much more confident in every area of her life. She enjoys her walks, loves opportunities to run and play, enjoys her toys and absolutely adores cuddles, belly rubs and gentle affection.
She remains a sensitive girl and can still feel a little uneasy when strangers pass very closely or during busier periods of the day. When this happens, she naturally seeks reassurance from the person she trusts.
She is also doing wonderfully with recall and is now happily staying close to her foster when off lead.
Another lovely development has been her growing confidence around other dogs. Initially she kept herself to herself, but today it changed.Her foster says:
"She has become really good with all the dogs, small and medium, young and old and is wonderful to them all."
Yara was initially wary of foster dad too, but time and gentle interactions have worked their magic. She is now much more relaxed around him and happily takes food from him, proving once again that trust comes naturally to Yara when she is allowed to build it at her own pace.
🏡 Ideal Home
Yara absolutely needs another friendly resident dog in her future home. A calm, balanced companion helps her feel emotionally secure and gives her confidence when facing new situations.
She would thrive in a quieter home with patient people who understand that trust grows through kindness, consistency and allowing a dog to move at her own pace.
A secure garden and a rural or semi-rural environment would suit her beautifully.
