Meet Freckles! 🐶
Freckles is a six-year-old, medium-sized boy weighing around 20kg. After spending years in our Romanian shelter, he is now in foster care in Northumberland and finally learning what home life feels like. He has been thriving in foster for a few months now and is ready to find his forever family at last!
He adores cuddles and belly rubs, but he is also perfectly content to enjoy his own space when he needs it. He has formed a sweet bond with the five-year-old child in his foster home, showing how gentle and kind-hearted he truly is. He enjoys his walks and is good on the lead, whether it’s just a short stroll or a longer adventure. He can sometimes feel nervous when he sees other dogs, but with reassurance and patience, he manages well. Freckles also loves spending time in the garden, where he can relax and enjoy some quiet time outdoors.
He is still adjusting to life in a home after his years in the shelter, and he can feel overwhelmed when visitors come. He will need a family willing to support him with patience and understanding as he continues to build his confidence.
