Description
It’s very sad that I’ve even thought of doing this, but I need to find shadow a new home. He is a complete mix breed but a big one, he’s 10 months old and weighs 52.6kg he’s going to be a big boy! I’ve had shadow since he was ready to leave his mum at 8 weeks old, he’s was sold to me as a Labrador x bull terrier but this is definitely not the case I don’t know what he is but he has a staffy type head and MASSIVE feet.
Shadow does need a lot of work, he is a very loving dog and he’s full of attitude and sass, he will absolutely shout at you for no reason lol and he’s soooo playful. I’ve had a massive change in family circumstances and just don’t have the space and time shadow needs for me to put into him. He has an internitant chewing issue, I honestly think this is down to boredom when he has new toys and is left alone he doesn’t chew but once he gets bored of them and alone he will chew things but it’s never furniture. I truly think that he just needs training and time out walking. At the moment I have 5 children and a full time job and I don’t have the capability to take him out for walks with all the children. He does walk nicely after a couple of minutes but will pull and cry when he sees dogs I think this is completely playful. I have an older dog at home and he’s never been nasty it’s always playful with him.
Shadow eats his food very very fast, I have tried everything except professional training, the vets told me it’s more than likely the fact he had to fight for food with his litter mates, he will eat fast go outside to be sick and then is fine I don’t know how to fix this issue.
I won’t be selling shadow to just anyone - if I feel you want shadow for his bully type look you won’t get a reply, I want someone that will nurture his lovely nature, give him the training he needs and all the love in the world he is still a baby and can be jumpy but he lives with children at the minute all ranging from 5-14 in age. He knocks them over sometimes but loves giving them lots of kisses. I have photos of him fast asleep snuggled up with my youngest child. He also lives with cats, he’s VERY playful with them, he paws one of my cats trying to play with her and has never hurt her he’s very inquisitive with them
Shadow is chipped and up to date with all his vaccinations and flea and worm treatment he is still entire as too young yet to have him castrated
