Description
Nutmeg is a sweet little lady, she was rescued from neglect in Crete and is now safe in the UK in foster near Addlestone, KT15.
Nutmeg was found thrown away onto the streets with 3 tiny pups. No longer wanted as she had babies. Lucky for Nutmeg, a Greek lady found them. But with limited options, she asked her parents to take her. Sadly, this meant tied on a chain. It is a generational problem in Greece; the older generation sees nothing wrong with chaining dogs 24/7 to protect the property.
One of Nutmeg’s pups did not survive; the other two found homes in Crete. As always, the adults wait longest.
Nutmeg weighs just 4.8kg. She is a lovely, sweet lady who has been through a lot. But in such a short time, she is becoming braver each day. She wants affection, she wants to trust, and her tail was up on her walks. It won’t take her long to realise life in the UK is going to be good.
Nutmeg is good with dogs, cats and even chickens. She needs a peaceful home where she can adapt to her new life, enjoy her walks, and she loves her food and treats. She is fine with other dogs as long as not too boisterous, as she is tiny and feels vulnerable with larger dogs. She is very submissive and gentle and is blossoming into a loving, fun little lady.
No children under 15 years can live with other non-boisterous dogs, cats and other animals.
Nutmeg is 2 years old, she is neutered and fully vaccinated, flea and dewormed.
