We are again looking for a new home for Enzo due to a previous rehoming not working out. This is a very difficult situation, and our priority is finding the right and safe long-term home for him.
Enzo is a dog who has grown up in a family environment with children and is generally friendly and playful. He is good with other dogs and has previously socialised well with both small and large breeds.
However, it is very important to be transparent: Enzo has shown behavioural challenges, including multiple biting incidents in his most recent home. He can become overexcited have had accidents in the house and struggles in certain situations, particularly when anxious or in enclosed spaces (such as travel cages or vet visits).
Because of this, Enzo must go to a very experienced dog owner or professional who understands behavioural issues and is confident working with dogs that may show aggression. He is not suitable for homes with children at this stage, and careful management around people and situations will be essential.
Enzo will need:
* An experienced, confident handler
* Ongoing training and behaviour work
* A calm, structured environment
* Someone committed to working through his challenges safely
This is not a decision being taken lightly, and we want to ensure Enzo is placed somewhere he can be properly supported and managed.
