Description

Welcome to our glorious litter of Cocker Springer Sammy pups. There are 7 gold/ rust coloured ones and 2 black ones. The mother is a Samoyed /Springer spaniel cross breed which I named a Springer Sammy. The father is a rusty coloured pure breed cocker spaniel and I have included a photo of him above. I also own the parents of my Springer Sammy- a pure breed Samoyed and a pure breed springer spaniel ( The grandparents of the pups!) This is my second litter of Cocker Springer Sammies and I have a couple of pictures from last years litter which I have added to the photos above so you get an idea of what they grow up to look like. The puppies have grown up in our garden in a kennel with hay bedding. By 4 weeks they had free access to the whole garden. They have been brought up in a natural environment and have been handled from 3 weeks of age. They have been enjoyed by many children! I have followed the principles of Natural rearing ( please see info about this at www.nrbreeder.com ) and have weaned the puppies onto cow milk mixed with Tree Barks powder ( a Dorwester Herbs product) and raw honey to aid digestion. They are now on 3 meals a day . They have this milk mixture for breakfast, soaked gluten free oats with milk, raw honey and Trees Bark powder for lunch and raw meat and veg for dinner. I use the meal plans indicated by Juliet de Bairacli Levy in her book ‘The Complete Handbook for the Dog and Cat’ to grow strong healthy puppies as nature intended. We would like the pups to go to homes that will offer them as ‘natural’ a life as possible with fresh food, lots of exercise and minimal medical interventions. We know they will bring great delight wherever they go. If you would like to view them please do send me a message. I aim to respond within 24 hours.
