Pearl – My Best Friend Looking for Her Forever Home This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. Pearl isn’t just my dog she is my best friend. I am absolutely devastated to be looking for a new home for her, but my landlord has threatened me with eviction if I keep her. I have a young child, and I simply cannot risk losing our home. If there were any other option, I would never let her go. Pearl is believed to be a mix of an American Staffordshire Terrier and another breed, although I’m not completely sure. What I do know is that she has the gentlest, most loving nature. She simply wants to be close to people and be loved in return. She has never shown any aggression. She is amazing with adults, children, dogs and cats, and is even gentle around my daughter’s guinea pigs. She is well behaved in the house, is happy to be left while I’m at work during the day, and is clean and settled indoors. Pearl has excellent recall and loves her walks. In safe, appropriate areas she enjoys being off lead because she stays close and comes back when called. Pearl and I have a very special story about how we found each other, and I’d love to share it with anyone who comes to meet her. We found each other when I needed her most, and she has been the most amazing, loyal companion I could ever have asked for. I am absolutely heartbroken to be writing this. My only priority is finding the very best forever home for my best friend someone who will love her unconditionally, make her part of the family, and give her the life she deserves.
