Description
Rupert is a beautiful Russian Blue boy, around 2 years old, neutered, and FIV positive. FIV positive cats can live very long and happy lives.
Rupert has been through trauma we’ll never fully understand and is wary of new people, but with patience and kindness, he’s slowly learning to trust. He is showing his true nature: a gentle, affectionate boy who just wants to love and be loved.
Rupert loves to play, but more than anything, he loves company—even if it’s just being in the same room. He enjoys quietly observing other cats and being part of the environment around him.
He will need time to come out of his shell, but with the right person, he’ll become the biggest love bug. He seems comfortable around other cats, but this can’t be guaranteed with all and given he is FIV + it would be best if he lives with other FIV+ cats or on his own. He’s not dog tested but we think he would be fine with a slow introduction to a cat friendly dog.
He’s looking for a calm, patient home that will give him the chance he deserves.
