Ernie is a tiny Chihuahua with an incredible story of survival. She was rescued from an illegal breeder after being left to starve. By the time she was found, she was so weak and malnourished that she was fighting for her life. Thanks to dedicated care, good nutrition and lots of love, this brave little girl has made an amazing recovery. Today, Ernie is healthy, happy and ready to start the life she should always have had. She is a gentle, affectionate and loving little companion who enjoys cuddles, following her people around and feeling safe in a warm home. Every day she grows more confident, discovering that kindness and love really do exist. Ernie is good with children, other dogs and cats, making her a wonderful addition to many different families. She would love a home where she can continue to blossom and finally know what it means to be truly cherished.
