Description

This dog was rehomed by us at 1 year old and we had every intention that he would with us forever. However, despite 6 months of efforts: - he and our older dog do not get on (this dog is very dog friendly but big and bouncy and is not good at reading other dogs cues). - he cannot learn to live with cats - he will jump stock fencing For this reason we need this home to be our last. We are looking for experienced vizsla owners with a secure outdoor space and capacity to continue his training (he’s doing very well!) who can offer him a 1-1 home. His behaviour is as you’d expect - he can sit, lie down, wait, come (mostly) when called, wait for his dinner, is learning to be gentle and has largely stopped jumping up. He is however mouthy when he wants to play. He lives with our children but I’m very careful with guests and would prefer him to go to a home where young children are not running around. He is very keen and eager to learn. Home very important.
