KALLIE is a very gorgeous, large sized, 16 month old girl, currently in the SA40 area. Kallie is 75 cms to top of head, and, although she’s tall, she’s quite slim, and resembles a lurcher/deerhound mix. Kallie is a happy and playful girl but she is strong on the lead so needs someone physically fit, as well as experienced with rescue dogs. She has a lot of energy and so loves to play, so would ideally like to live with a young and playful dog. She can be full on with her play and loves to run, so needs another dog that matches her needs. Kallie can jump like a gazelle! so needs a secure garden, 6’ high fences minimum please. Kallie can be fearful of busy suburban type noises so ideally needs a semi rural/rural home.
Kallie bonds well to her human and is super loving and affectionate. She is house trained, crate trained, travel wells in the car and sleeps through the night without a peep. All in all, she wants to please but is very young still and needs on going training and boundaries being put in place. Her confidence is developing well but her owner will need to be mindful that sometimes, things can frighten Kallie, and so these need to be managed on her behalf.
