Description

Could you be the person Chime has been waiting for? Meet beautiful Chime – a petite young girl with the sweetest, most gentle personality. Despite being only just over a year old, Chime has already had a difficult start to life. She was born in someone's garden, where she grew up living outside alongside several other cats, never knowing the safety, security and comfort every cat deserves. When Chime came into Penny Paws' care, she was heavily pregnant. Since then, she has been an incredible mum, lovingly raising her final litter of kittens until they were old enough to find wonderful forever homes of their own. Now that her babies have all left the nest, Chime has been neutered, and for the very first time, she gets to simply be a young cat herself. Watching Chime blossom has been a joy. She adores fuss and affection, happily curls up beside her foster family, and has discovered just how wonderful indoor life can be. She loves stretching out on the sofa, watching the world go by from the window, and rolling onto her back for tummy rubs. Chime has settled beautifully with the other cats in her foster home in Slough and enjoys their company, so she'd be very happy living with another friendly cat. Equally, she'd thrive as the only pet in a home where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. After spending her first year surviving outdoors and putting her kittens first, it's finally Chime's turn. She is now available for adoption and searching for a family who will give her all the love, comfort and security she has always deserved. About Chime • Female • Born: 17 June 2024 • Neutered • Microchipped • Flea treated • Worm treated ❤️ Think Chime Could Be the One? Apply now: https://forms.gle/iL9EFHnKYShWarEKA Once your home has been approved, a £50 reservation deposit secures your chosen cat. The deposit is deducted from the adoption fee—it isn't an additional charge—and simply holds the cat while we prepare everything for adoption. Because many of our rescue cats find homes quickly, we recommend applying as soon as possible. Why Adopt Through Penny Paws? Penny Paws is a volunteer-run rescue dedicated to giving every cat the best possible future. We carefully match each cat's personality and needs with the most suitable home. Every Penny Paws cat receives: • Veterinary health check • Neutering (where age appropriate) • Microchip • Flea treatment • Worm treatment Chime is currently being cared for in our Slough foster home. Penny Paws foster homes are based across London and Hampshire, with our headquarters in Hook, Hampshire. Collection is usually from the foster home, but where possible, once an adoption is confirmed, a volunteer may be able to bring the cat to Hook HQ for collection. Every adoption fee goes straight back into rescuing, feeding and providing veterinary care for more homeless cats. Please note: We do not routinely vaccinate our rescue cats because previous vaccination history is often unknown. We recommend adopters begin a fresh vaccination course with their own vet. ⭐ Please Apply Even If Chime Has Already Been Reserved Rehoming cats will always take priority over website administration. As a busy volunteer rescue, we don't always have time to remove reserved cats from Pets4Homes or update our website immediately. Our Cats Available for Adoption page never includes every cat currently in our care. Many are matched before advertising or are still settling into foster care. The best way to adopt through Penny Paws is to complete an application anyway. Once approved, we'll recommend cats that best suit your home and lifestyle. Many adopters end up choosing a different cat and tell us it was the perfect match. 🏡 Ready to Take the Next Step? Apply here: https://forms.gle/iL9EFHnKYShWarEKA Then send us a short home video showing: • Inside your home • Garden (if applicable) • View from your front door looking left and right Website: https://www.pennypaws.org Testimonials: https://www.pennypaws.org/testimonials Please only apply if everyone in your household has agreed to adopting. Every adoption saves two lives—the cat you welcome home, and the next homeless cat whose place becomes available in foster care.
