Emergency foster needed for Millie 😔
Ideally Millie needs to be adopted
Carlisle or surrounding area
But she can travel for the right home 🙏
2 yr old pocket pointer / Harehound
Small / medium- approx 15 kg
Poor Millie isnt having much luck
Dumped on the streets as a young dog in Cyprus , knocked down and left for dead .Recovered to be offered a lovely foster home in Cyprus only to find herself having to leave quickly
It was then Millie was given the opportunity to fly to the uk as a foster however shes more nervous in the uk .Shes not coping around traffic and loud noises
Her accident clearly has left its mark on her more than we realised
For this reason , she cant stay in her current foster . She'd be expected to cope in situations she simply cant manage at the moment
On the plus ! Millie is doing exceptionally well in other areas
An incredibly loving girl whos happy to sit on the sofa for hours being cuddled .Playful , loves her toys .Settles at night in her crate. Enjoys walks unless she hears or sees loud noises / traffic .She not the biggest fan of other dogs , shes much more interested in human attention and affection
Millie would adore a home as an only dog ,a quiet home , an Older adult household would be ideal but not exclusive .She could live with older respectful children.Millie is better to live in an area thats away from main roads , where she can build up her confidence around cars .
Millie cant live with cats
Millie needs people who will help and invest in her with time and patience 🙏
Millie is in quite a desperate situation
She cant stay in her current home
Shes had to move twice now since her flight. We all want to see her settled in a loving home as soon as possible
Its only what she deserves after all shes been through
