Unfortunately I’m having to rehome my galah cockatoo. She’s a lovely confident bird and has her full wings. She’s loves everyone in the family, however our other parrot has become depressed and he doesn’t like her. We have tried them in the same room / seperate rooms and hes just stopped talking and started distancing himself from the family because shes here.
We have tried for 6 months now and nothing is making them bond I think she needs to be an only bird in the house as she’s very demanding.
(She shows no aggression towards him he just doesn’t like her at all - small man syndrome I think 😆)
She was a present for my 40th birthday and the decision hasn’t been taken lightly. She needs to be in a home with people who have time for her. We can’t free fly either of them at the moment in case of accidents.
