Description

Rocky is a gorgeous borador and we have had him since a puppy. This is a very reluctant sale and due to commitments with work and our tenancy we have had to come to this decision. He is great with all dogs and loves with a smaller one currently. He has also lived with a cat in the past which he was fine with but did like to chase, non aggresssive. He has lived with our children since they were young and never showed any sign of aggression or teeth. He eats well, obeys sit, down, fetch, stay, take it, spin and roll over is sometimes successful. He loves his knuckle bones and dental sticks and isn’t fussy with food at all. On walks he doesn’t pull but is a little less strong on head collar. He rolls over whenever he meets any human or dog, regardless of size and breed, waiting to be sniffed of tummy rubs. A pure gentle boy. He loves playing fetch and this is his ultimate favourite thing to do. A close second is swimming in any water he can find, provided it’s suitable and safe. He will be the first one to dive into the sea to retrieve the ball back. He will even go swimming amongst the bigger waves and always come back when called. Just watch the shake off when he returns! As mentioned his recall is great, even when other dogs or people are around. He’s never chased if told not to. He does bark if left in the crate during the day but does sleep in one at night in our bedroom. He prefers to be in the kitchen during the day. We work full time and has never been an issue, but barks if he needs to go for a wee. On this note, he has not ever had one accident and has been house trained even when I brought him as a puppy. He was born on a farm type home and loves his long runs and country feel. He is not suited to a flat or homes without access to a garden or walking routes. We would prefer him to go to a more rural setup with someone who has lots of time for him. The age of new owner he’s suit would be for any age, provided they have the time to give him such as working from home, retired or shorter work hours.
