Description

We have owned Ridgebacks for over 25 years and they really are the best addition to the family. We do not show our dogs as that world is not for us. We have a small holding and event horses, so our 4 dogs (mother, aunty, grandmother and great grandmother of these puppies) spend their time wandering around our yard and fields or fast asleep on the sofa. People always comment on how calm and gentle they are and it's a trait that has always passed down to the next generation. We carefully selected the stud dog, not only for his health credentials but also for his wonderful temperament. He too has been raised around children and other animals and is a loyal and affectionate member of the family. Both parents have undergone extensive health testing and are clear for JME, DM, EOAD, and Haemophilia B. The mother has perfect hip and elbow scores of 0/0, while the sire has excellent scores of 1/1 hips and 0/0 elbows. Their inbreeding coefficient is just 0.1%, which is significantly lower than the breed average. This litter will be our 7th generation and so far all of our pups have proven to have outstanding temperaments and are cherished family pets. We are in touch with their owners and receive regular pictures and glowing reports of how wonderful they are, without exception. We welcome calls and emails and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Please ensure that your home and lifestyle are suitable for a large breed. Ridgebacks require regular exercise and access to safe areas where they can run freely each day. Bringing a puppy into your family is potentially a 14-year commitment, so please do your research before making a decision.
