Could One of Chloe’s Tiny Tabby Babies Be the One? 🐾 4 beautiful rescue kittens Currently in foster care in Walton-on-Thames Around 9–10 days old Can be reserved now – individual kittens chosen at around 5 weeks old Ready to leave at approximately 9–10 weeks, subject to them being healthy, fully weaned and ready These four tiny babies are Chloe’s kittens, and they have already had quite a start to life. Chloe is a beautiful tabby mum who was living outside in a garden in Slough alongside her sister, Lola. Incredibly, both girls had given birth at almost exactly the same time, with four tiny kittens each. That meant two young mums and eight newborn babies needing somewhere safe to go. Thankfully, they are now exactly where they need to be — safely tucked up together in one of our lovely Penny Paws foster homes in Walton-on-Thames, where Chloe can concentrate on being a mum and her babies can grow up surrounded by warmth, care and lots of gentle human attention. At the moment, they really are tiny. Their little personalities are still waiting to emerge and they are too young for me to confidently promise genders. But over the next few weeks, they will change enormously — eyes opening, little legs starting to work properly, exploring, playing and gradually becoming four completely individual little characters. And they can be reserved now. ❤️ How Reserving a Very Young Penny Paws Kitten Works The first few weeks of a kitten’s life are incredibly fragile, so I don’t like people choosing an individual kitten when they are only days old. Instead, a £50 deposit reserves your place for one of Chloe’s kittens. When they reach around 4–5 weeks old, we should know their genders and have a much better idea of their developing personalities. You can then visit the foster home, meet them properly and choose from the kittens available at your position in the reservation order. Choice is given in the order deposits are received. This means you can secure the opportunity to adopt one now, without having to make a decision about which tiny bundle is yours before we know enough about them. If you meet them and genuinely don’t feel that one of the kittens available to you is the right fit, your deposit can be refunded at that stage or transferred to another suitable Penny Paws kitten. And, of course, if anything happens at our end — if a kitten becomes seriously unwell or for any reason Penny Paws cannot proceed with the adoption — you will not lose the money you have paid. 🐱 What Is Included? Before leaving us, the kittens will be vet checked and appropriately treated for fleas, worms and mites. They will not routinely be vaccinated before adoption. Penny Paws is an independent rescue and receives no outside or guaranteed organisational funding. Nobody makes a profit from what we do — adoption fees and donations go straight back into caring for Penny Paws cats. Some cats come to us needing relatively little financially. Others need hundreds or sometimes thousands of pounds of emergency veterinary care. Adoption fees alone simply do not cover everything, and unfortunately routinely funding vaccinations for every kitten just isn’t something we can afford to do. We therefore ask adopters to arrange and fund their kitten’s vaccinations with their own vet. ✂️ Neutering Neutering is incredibly important to Penny Paws. A huge proportion of the cats and kittens who come into our care are here because the cycle of unneutered cats having litter after litter has simply been allowed to continue. It is one of the central parts of what Penny Paws exists to change. These babies will be far too young to neuter when they leave us. If a Penny Paws kitten is adopted before they are old enough for us to neuter them, responsibility for arranging and funding their neutering passes to their adopter, unless something different has specifically been agreed with Penny Paws. You will sign our neutering agreement and commit to having your kitten neutered at the appropriate age/weight. We follow this up because every single kitten we prevent from going on to produce another litter genuinely matters. 💷 Adoption Fee £200 per kitten £50 reservation deposit £150 remaining balance before collection The £50 is deducted from the adoption fee — it is not an additional charge. Every adoption fee goes straight back into helping the next cat who needs us. Penny Paws is an independent rescue network, and our foster homes and volunteers enable us to rescue, rehabilitate and responsibly rehome cats across London and the South. ❤️ Think One of Chloe’s Babies Could Be the One? Please don’t wait until they are ready to leave before getting in touch. Very young kittens are often matched with approved Penny Paws homes before they ever need to be publicly advertised, and Chloe’s babies can be reserved while they are still growing safely with their mum. I care enormously about where every Penny Paws cat ends up. I’m not looking for some mythical “perfect” home — I just want to understand your household properly so I can make sure the kitten you fall in love with is also the right kitten for you. Our application and home-video process is there to help us make safe, thoughtful and permanent matches.
