Meet BELLA, a beautiful young Greyhound × Saluki cross, with long graceful legs, a soft golden coat, and the most delicate, soulful eyes.
Behind her elegance lies a story that is sadly all too common… but we are determined to change her ending. 💛

• 📅 Age: Approx. 2 years old
• ⚖️ Build: Slim, athletic (typical sighthound)
• 🐕 Breed: Smooth-coated Greyhound × Saluki
• 🚺 Sex: Female
• ✂️ Not Neutered
💔 Her Story
Bella comes from a domestic abuse situation, where she was:
• Left alone for long periods
• Frightened and insecure
• Under-nourished and neglected
Thankfully, she was rescued by a kind gentleman, Colin, who simply could not walk away from her suffering.
However, due to his age and Bella’s needs, he is unable to provide the level of care, exercise, and security she urgently requires — and is now asking for help to find her the right home.

Despite everything she has been through… Bella remains:
• 🌸 Gentle and sensitive
• 🐾 Quiet and observant
• 💛 Non-aggressive and soft-natured
• 🧠 Still learning to trust the world
She is not “difficult” — she is simply a dog who has never felt properly safe before.

Bella needs a very specific kind of home — one that understands her past and can guide her forward.
🏡 A calm, quiet household

🚫 No young children (she needs peace and predictability)
🐕 Could live with another calm dog (subject to assessment)
🌳 Secure garden is ESSENTIAL (she is a sighthound and can run extremely fast)

A home that will give her time, patience, and kindness — without expectations or pressure.

• Bella has had a traumatic start in life
• She may initially be shy, unsure, or withdrawn
• She will need time to decompress and feel safe
• She must NOT be let off lead in unsecured areas
This is not a “ready-made” dog —
This is a dog who needs someone to truly care.

• Previously underweight – improving
• Will require routine vet check, vaccinations, and neutering.

Although Bella is currently with Colin, she will be rehomed under Friends InDeed Dog Rescue:

✔️ Adoption agreement in place
✔️ Full rescue backup for life
✔️ Ongoing support and guidance
We will fully support both Bella and her adopter throughout the transition.

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
